TCM massage profile:
TCM massage is one of the early origins of China's traditional medicine massage and body-keeping method for thousands of treating and preventing diseases. When ancient doctors haven't used Chinese herbal medicine, they have already found useful massage method to cure disease. TCM massage has a history of more than five thousand years in China. In Sui and Tang dynasties, professional massager and master of rubbers were socially recognized.
TCM massage therapy is based on TCM theory of Zang-fu viscera and meridians as its guidance. Meridian is the floor-board of the meridians and collaterals in the human body. They are the running channels of Qi and blood, closely linked to each other, inside and outside the human body. Meridian courses form a complete network, playing a key role of the circulation of Qi and blood, the balance of Yin and Yang, nourishing viscera and joints.
If Qi and blood run smoothly following the meridians and collaterals, man may feel healthy. On the contrary, if Qi and blood meet with obstacles and may not run smoothly, disease occurs. Massage therapy is to be able to make the meridians and collateral channels unblocked, so that to balance power of Yin and Yang, keeping people in a healthy state.
After the development for thousands of years, there are hundreds of styles (schools) of TCM massage. Although every school has their unique skills, all the basic techniques require powerful, even, gentle, deep and thorough movements, as TCM massage originated the same source. TCM massage therapy is suitable for the medical treatment for the elderly, youth, children and women with no side effects. Therefore, it can be widely used as a practical method for treatment and self health care.

But to be the medical method of the treatment, the requirement for the massager is rather high. Unless you have understood the anatomy of human bodies, the structure of bones, muscle and the flow of blood, and when you have mastered the traditional Chinese medicine meridian theory, keeping in mind the exact acupuncture points , you can use TCM massage techniques skillfully and freely.
Massage, as a way to cure human body, usually refers to the rubbers who use their hands on the patient's body surface, injured parts, specific acupuncture points, where painful and discomfort, the specific use of push, taking, pressing, rubbing, kneading, kneading acupoints and flapping are in common use.
This is to dredge meridians and collaterals, stimulate Qi and blood meridians run, promote Qi and blood circulation, help the injured to relieve pain, eliminate the pathogenic factor, reinvigorate and centralize the vital essence, coordinate and balance Yin and Yang in the body.
Introduction of Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of solid filiform acupuncture needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. No drug is injected. The needles alone create the beneficial effects of acupuncture.
Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or even surgery. Relief is often obtained with acupuncture when traditional medical therapy has failed.

Acupuncture originated in China at least 2500 years ago and spread to neighbouring Asian countries including Japan, Vietnam, and Korea by about 500 CE, and finally to Europe in the 16th century. And then it began to spread rapidly in Western Europe, the United States and Canada during the second half of the twentieth century. In those countries, people use Acupuncture, treating asthma, migraines, rheumatism and various forms of paralysis.
Acupuncture needles are solid, usually stainless steel (they may also be gold or silver), and measure from 13-70 mm. The needles are very fine, flexible and rounded but sharp at the tip. They are ‘atraumatic’, meaning that they do not have a cutting edge like a hypodermic needle, which slices through tissue. Their design allows acupuncture needles to slide smoothly through tissues and makes them unlikely to cause bleeding or damage to underlying structures.
Acupuncture points (also referred to as acupoints ) are places on the skin that have a lower resistance to the passage of electricity than the surrounding skin and are part of a network of points that were mapped centuries ago by the Chinese.
Introduction of TCM
Traditional Chinese Medicine ("TCM") is an integral part of Chinese culture. It has made great contributions to the prosperity of China.
Today both of TCM and western medicine are being used in providing medical and health services in China. TCM, with its unique diagnostic methods, systematic approach, abundant historical literature and materials, has attracted many attentions from the international community.

TCM is well recognized for its remarkable effectiveness in off setting the side effect caused by the toxic and chemical treatment of cancer cases in the western medical system. In China, TCM is under the administration of State Administration of TCM and Pharmacology. TCM and its development are regulated.
National strategies, law and regulations governing TCM are now in place to guide and promote the research and development in this promising industry. TCM is defined as a medical science governing the theory and practice of traditional Chinese medicine. It includes Chinese medication, pharmacology/ herbalogy, acupuncture, massage and Qigong.
Hospitals in China are classified as specialized in western medical system, TCM or both. TCM is now available to 75% of the areas in China. TCM has been very effective in the treatment of diseases such as cardio-cerebro-vascular, immunogenic, tumors, bone fracture, etc. Scientific research and clinic experiments in TCM are continuously progressing.
Successes have been made in many of the areas such as in circulating paths of meridians; in Zheng-syndrome, in diagnostic indexes; in therapeutic principles, in healing emergency patients with shock, acute DIC, acute myocardial infarction and acute renal failure. For treatment of bone fracture, method is adopted based on the theory of combination of mobilization and immobilization.
Non-antibacterial compound prescriptions are used successfully in treatment of bacterial infection. In the treatment of cancers, Fuzheng Guben compound prescriptions, though devoid of inhibitory effects on cancer cells could cause the shrink of the mass of cancer. TCM provides a non-surgical approach to the treatment of acute abdomen.
